Description

Sepsis remains a common diagnosis, sadly with a high mortality rate. Management of sepsis is a complicated clinical challenge requiring early recognition and management of infection, hemodynamic issues, and other organ dysfunctions. Nurses are often the first to encounter the patient at risk for sepsis. “Time” is of the essence in the identification and management of sepsis. Robin Gilbert, MSN, RN, CEN, CPEN will share new tips to help you pick up on clinical signs/symptoms that could indicate a concern and will provide you with up-to-date information to guide initial interventions for the patient.

Don’t miss the early warning signs. YOU can make a difference in decreasing patient mortality rates.
