Module 1: Guidance, Blessing & Orientation for Exploring Life After Life

We begin by discussing where we must go for reliable evidence of life after death. We will survey the rich world literature of ecstatic journeys and near-death experiences. We will discover that the human belief that consciousness survives the body — and the architecture of heavens and hells and other collective situations in the afterlife — is founded on shamanic experience and personal dreams, in which the departed come calling or the dreamer travels beyond the body.

In this module, you’ll:

• Hear the testimony of those who have died and come back
• Study the methods of conscious explorers of the afterlife
• Discover that healing and forgiveness are always available, across the apparent barrier of death
• Journey to enlist the support of a spiritual guide for your explorations
• Learn simple methods of psychic protection and flight security

Module 2: Dreaming With the Departed

“The dimension that separates the living from the dead is exactly as wide as the edge of a maple leaf,” said Handsome Lake, the Seneca Indian prophet. In fact, the distance is no physical distance at all. On a cellular level, we carry the collective memory of all our ancestors. To know this requires only the act of remembering. On a psychic level, we are constantly connected to the energies of both the departed and the living. To see this requires only a shift in perception.

In this module, you’ll discover how to:

• Discern whether the appearance of a deceased person in a dream is a transpersonal encounter or a projection of an aspect of the dreamer
• Clarify the reasons for a visitation (there are 13 main reasons)
• Use a dream of the departed as a portal for further communication
• Welcome the departed when they are ready to play counselors and family angels
• Construct simple rituals to honor the departed and facilitate helpful contact when desired

Module 3: Visiting the Departed on the Other Side

We call in spiritual guidance and protection and embark on a journey to the Other Side for helpful and timely communication with someone who resides there. This may be a departed friend or loved one who has appeared to you in a dream, or an ancestor from further back. You may choose to use a personal dream as the portal for the journey. You’ll also be invited to use group portals that have opened the way for previous travelers.

In this module, you’ll:

• Learn how to use a personal dream or memory as a portal for a journey to the Other Side
• Experiment with portals for the crossing from several world traditions
• Open helpful and timely communication with a departed loved one or ancestor
• Learn about conditions in the afterlife as they have experienced them
• Bring through tools for ancestral healing

Module 4: The Dante Gate
Knocking at the Heart

Dante’s Divine Comedy is a great mythic tour of the afterlife from the heart of Western literature. Freeing key passages from medieval history of theology, while still stirred by the poetry, we will follow the journey of the soul, aided by dreams and an ancestral guide, through the gate of Purgatory and on to the encounter with the beloved of the soul.

Like Dante, you’ll be guided to climb the three great steps to the angelic gatekeeper:

• First step: look in a mirror and face yourself as you truly are, in all your aspects
• Second step: look through the crack into the dark side of yourself and your soul history
• Third step: seek, in the color of blood, for the sacrifice you’ll make for your spiritual quest

You only gain admission when you knock on your heart. In a big journey, powered by shamanic drumming, you’ll now be invited to scale the soul mountain to meet the Soul of your Soul as she chooses to appear to you.

At the end of this extraordinary journey, Robert will share a new mantra for ascent from the heart center to the beloved of the soul, given to him in a recent vision.

Module 5: Making Death Your Ally

You’ll be challenged to reach into the place of your deepest fears: to face Death on its own ground and revalue your life and its purpose from this perspective. When we “brave up” enough to confront our personal Death and receive its teaching, we forge an alliance that is a source of power and healing in every aspect of life. The close encounter with Death brings courage, which Rollo May rightly identified in The Courage to Create as the heart of the creative endeavor. It encourages the ability to go beyond the surface vicissitudes of daily life. It brings keen awareness of a larger reality.

In this module, you’ll be invited to:

• The Weighing of the Heart
• Determine what you need to do in order to move on without regrets
• Encounter a personal Death
• Renegotiate your present life contract and honor Death as an ally

Module 6: When the Dead Need Help From the Living

The deceased may need help and guidance from us — because they have unfinished business, or are lost, confused or crippled by guilt, or unable to detach from old environments and addictions. Many dead people hang around the living because they don’t know they are dead. In such cases, as Yeats observed, the living may be able to “assist the imaginations of the dead.” Sometimes we may be called on to provide or arrange rehab and escort services for the Departed, and to develop rituals to separate and safely contain heavy energy that has remained with the living in ways that are unhealthy to all involved.

In this module, you’ll discover how to:

• Call in guidance for the deceased
• Assist the imaginations of the dead
• Help the deceased settle unfinished business
• Assist suicides and those who fear they are damned
• Construct a loving ritual of forgiveness or farewell
• Conduct a “second burial” to deal with heavy energy of the dead

Module 7: First Steps on the Other Side

We are going to make careful exploration of the first transitions on the Other Side, as experienced by many who make the crossing. We are going to follow the trail of previous travelers, while opening to fresh experiences and to growing new dreams of possibility. We’ll consider maps for afterlife transitions from several world traditions, and plausible channeled accounts from residents, soul travelers and subjects of hypnotic regression.

Step by step, after the necessary discussion, you’ll journey to:

• Encounter personal gatekeepers and welcoming committees
• Visit a place of rest and relaxation on the Other Side
• Go through an initial life review
• Re-vision a life story
• Inspect some collective belief territories

Module 8: Getting a Life on the Other Side

There is a people in the South Pacific who maintain that there are as many afterlife locales as there are human imaginations. This may be entirely correct, yet because many are lacking in imagination, they may settle in collective belief territories or confine themselves to very limited environments. We are going to learn how imagination, memory and desire are the architects and building contractors in the transition zones that one of Robert’s guides calls “Memorydream.”

In this module, you’ll tour:

• Schools of Higher Learning
• Real estate options
• Love on the Other Side
• Communications centers where the departed seek to contact the living
• Job opportunities on the Other Side, including becoming an apprentice guide
• The Plane of Recollection, where we see and remember our larger soul history and connection with dramas being played out in many times and many worlds

Module 9: Fly Me to the Moon

Are you ready for even wilder adventures? Are you willing to follow the path of moonlight on water, into the realm of Luna? For the ancients, the astral realm of the Moon is where spirits take on subtle bodies before entering their mothers’ bodies in the physical world. It is also the space to which spirits ascend, after cleansing and preparation. They may continue to reside here for a long time, watching over the Earth, entertaining Earth travelers, and producing dreams they will send to those on the lower plane. It is in this realm that the astral body is left behind when a soul ascends to higher levels. Interesting deities and angelic beings, both male and female, have been awarded patronage of what happens in the realm of Luna. Get ready for a thrilling ride!

You’ll journey through:

• The encounter with the “Scrubbers” who cleanse and prepare you for entry Life after Life in the Many Worlds
• The encounter with a Moon spirit

• Creating a place of rendezvous for return visits with residents and other travelers
• Inspecting what happens to astral bodies in this realm, before birth and after death
• Observing astral traffic between Earth and Moon

Module 10: Journeying to the Space Between Lives

The space we enter after death and the space we are in before birth are closely related. We come from the dream world into the physical world at the moment of birth. But few of us are born with clear memories of where we were before, and those of us who remember will have to withstand not only the trauma of the birth canal but the amnesiac influences of most of those around us.

In this module, you’ll:

• Meet members of your soul family who have been with you in other lives
• Remember your soul assignments in this life
• Harvest guidance on current relationships, life challenges and health issues
• Identify soul companions who have come across space and time to be with you in your current life
• Meet your council of elders
• Learn how souls select a new life experience on Earth, or in another reality

Module 11: Becoming a Midwife of Death for Others

There is a Plains Indian saying that the path of the soul after death is the same as the path of the soul in dreams. This is why dreaming is the best preparation for dying. We can apply the techniques of Active Dreaming to help others approach death with courage and grace, and enjoy the years they have left on this side more richly. Simply by encouraging others to remember dreams and open to the dream adventure, we can help prepare them for the big journey beyond this life, since dreams take us beyond the ordinary world and prepare us for life in other dimensions. We can learn to communicate on a soul level with people who are suffering from ailments like Alzheimer’s and dementia, and even with coma patients.

In this important module, you’ll discover how to help others:

• Connect with a spiritual guide
• Open to dreams and awaken to how in dreams we are already at home in worlds beyond the world
• Find a personal gateway for the journey beyond death
• Receive a map for the journey to life beyond life

Module 12: Meeting More of Your Soul Family

Now you have been to the astral realm of Luna, and revisited a place where you chose your present life experience, you are ready to rise to a more spacious view of the place of your soul in the multiverse. You can travel into the life experiences of personalities in other time periods — past, future or parallel — who are part of your soul family. Choices that each of you makes impact the others, since in the larger scheme of things, your lives are being lived simultaneously. You may find yourself able to slip in and out of those other life experiences and also to rise to the perspective of a Higher Self able to see the secret logic of events and change the patterns. You have been doing some of this in your dreams for a very long time, even if you were completely unconscious of it until now.

In this module, you’ll discover:

• You stand at the center of all times
• In this moment of Now, you can enter other times, commune with personalities living in those times, and influence all these lives for the better
• You belong to a soul family connected to a Higher Self, or Oversoul
• You can ascend to the level of the Oversoul
• Out of these profound exercises in soul remembering, you can find your soul’s true home in the multiverse and bless the lives of those around you

Module 13: Life After Life in the Many Worlds

You’ll emerge from this class, and this course, with the courage and clarity for life that comes from attaining first-hand knowledge of the following things:

• You are here in this world on a mission
• You had a life before you were conceived, and you’ll have a life after death
• You belong to a spiritual, as well as a biological family
• You have counterparts in other times and in alternate realities, aspects of your larger, multidimensional self. You can connect with them consciously and exchange gifts
• You and your soul family are connected to master teachers
• You yourself can graduate as a soul guide, helping people on both sides of death to remember their calling and find their ways

The Near-death Experience (NDE) & the Evidence for Life After Life

In his classic work Life After Life, Dr. Raymond Moody gave us the term “near-death experience” and reports gathered from hundreds of NDE experiencers strongly suggesting that consciousness survives the death of the body. At the time, these were reports from the front; the young medical doctor embarking on a career in psychiatry was sure to be assailed by reductionists who did not believe that medicine should address the soul. By giving us a key phrase, a model for understanding, and a pragmatic method of assembling state-specific data, Dr. Moody encouraged many thousands to come forward with their own NDE accounts, and serious study of the phenomenon by researchers and institutions all over the world map. His quest continues and he writes about his odyssey — including a personal NDE in 1991 — with candor and humor in his recent memoir Paranormal.

Raymond Moody, MD, PhD, is a psychologist, physician and philosopher who pioneered the study of the near-death experience, a term he coined and made household language through his classic work Life After Life, first published in 1975 and a perennial bestseller. He has published a dozen books since, including a personal memoir, Paranormal. He received the World Humanitarian Award in Denmark in 1988.
